updates

Here are some updates for the morning glories and the dog. I had some good time in my studio today so worked on several things. The oil pastels were a little soft due to the warm temps, which made layering a little difficult. That is why it is nice to have several paintings going at once.
I did notice that Angel's nose was too small so had to change that. Still more to do on each painting.

another update

Here is another update to the morning glories. I worked on the big flower, still have the right side of it to do. I had to put it aside to work on the dog I am doing as time is running short for this.

This is for my grandaughter who will give it to her boyfriend for his birthday. It is his dog named Angel and she is a pit bull. Only my second dog portrait, very hard. This is also done in oil pastel.

New WIP

I have been working on these morning glories and hope to finish soon. Paint stick underpainting with oil pastel on top. About 20 x 19 gessoed board. I love to look out every morning and see these lovley blue faces climbing around the pole in my yard.
